Select which products have a new product introduction (NPI) or end of life (EOL) status, and populate the respective dates for them. You can override the plan at the customer level.
Product Level Source Dates and Effective Dates
Select a scenario from the context selector from the top-right of the page.
Use the Customer Filter and Product Filter fields to filter on a specific customer and product.
You can review new product introduction (NPI) and end of life (EOL) status for products.
Steps
To change a product or update its status:
- Select Override NPI/EOL status for the product.
- Select either NPI or EOL in the NPI/EOL Override column.
Changes are applied when you commit the updates. - Optionally, select the date picker in the NPI Date or EOL Date column and select a date to begin the new status.
Customer Level Status
View and edit NPI and EOL status at the customer level. You can also enter dates for when the new status starts.
Steps
To enter a change to NPI or EOL status at the customer level:
- Select Override NPI/EOL status for the customer level.
- Select either NPI or EOL in the NPI/EOL Override column.
- Optionally, select the date picker in the NPI Date or EOL Date column and select a date to begin the new status.
Changes are applied when you commit the updates.
Commit Updates
Commit the updates to apply changes.
Steps
To commit updates:
- Refresh the page. If there are updates to commit, the NPI Updates to Commit card shows the number of updates.
- Select Process Updates.
Additional information
If you remove NPI status from a product, this permanently deletes the NPI plan.
