This page allows you to review and edit ABC status and commit to the customer core business data.

Use the context selector at the top-right to select a customer. Additionally, you can manually enter the required value using the search function.

This card displays if current categorization is system recommended or not. If the cell has a clear background, this shows the current categorization is system recommended. If the cell is highlighted yellow, this shows the current categorization isn't system recommended.

The ABC Current chart shows the ABC categorization for the current values by product.

The ABC (System Recommended) chart shows the system recommended count of customers for the selected product.

The ABC (Final) chart shows the values used by the system by product.

Displays the ABC categorization values for current, system-recommended, and final values by product group by selecting the product in the table.

Selected DataDemand data in unit volumes used to calculate the system-generated ABC categorizations.
Cumulative DataDemand data in cumulative unit volumes used to calculate the system-generated ABC categorizations.
Volume RankThe rank order of the customer by unit volume demand, with 1 being the highest.
Percentage of TotalThe demand for the customer is calculated as a percentage of the total demand for all customers.
Cumulative PercentageThe cumulative Pareto percentage curve.
Current ABC

Dependent on a parameter in 900 – Global Demand Parameters. The current segmentation values are one of these options:

  •  Master data from the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • A value calculated in the application at a particular point in time and stored. 
  • A live calculated segmentation.
System Recommended ABCAre system-generated segmentation values without user override values.
Override ABCEnter override values in this column, subject to the parameters specified in 900 – Global Parameters. Override values are displayed as highlighted values and update the values in the Final ABC to Update column.
Final ABC to UpdateThe values confirmed for use by the system.

To update ABC values, select Update ABC Customer. This runs processes to update the values in the system.
