You can select a specific location in the Alerts panel to drill down to alerts across all the Product — Location dimension.
This page allows you to view the inventory planning level issues, which must be taken care of in the short-term. You can select scenarios, products, and locations in the DC Inventory Planning tab.
Alert Results display all alerts created across different categories at the location level.
Parameters
Days Supply
The Days Supply panel enables you to edit the Days Supply parameters and it also displays the current effective parameters.
| Parameter Name | Description |
| Closing days supply category | Displays the number of Closing days supply category, such as 1–7 days or 8–15 days. For example: when the parameter is set to 1–7 days, the system will check if the location's available stock can serve the demand for next 1–7 days. |
| Over future periods | Number of instances when the days of supply are below the Closing days supply category. For example: when the parameter is set to three, in the next three periods, if the inventory is below Closing days supply category an alert will be created. |
Stockouts
The Stockouts panel enables the user to edit Stockout parameters and it also displays the current effective parameters.
| Parameter Name | Description |
| Stockouts over future periods | If there is a stockout, that is when Outgoing stock > Incoming stock in the next future period, an alert is created. |
Transfers
The Transfers panel enables you to edit Transfer parameters and it also displays the current effective parameters.
| Parameter Name | Description |
| Location for insufficient transfer quantity | Creates an alert when there isn't enough stock to transfer inventory to the destination location.

Safety Stocks
The Safety Stocks panel enables you to edit Safety Stocks parameters and it also displays the current effective parameters.

| Safety stocks over future periods | Creates an alert if inventory is below the safety stock during the next future periods. |
| Parameter Name | Description |
| Order > Forecast | Sum of all alerts activated when the committed customer order exceeds the forecast across the planned time horizon. |
| Closing Days Supply | Sum of all alerts activated when the days of supply are below the Closing days supply category. |
| Stockouts | Sum of all alerts activated when there's a stockout across all products at locations. |
| Insufficient Transfer Quantity | Sum of all alerts activated when there isn't enough stock to transfer inventory to the destination location. |
| Inventory Below the Safety Stock | Sum of all alerts activated when inventory is below the safety stock. |
Steps
Select a scenario from the right-hand context selector dropdown . In the Alerts Results, based on the selection in the grid 1, the results for the Location --> Product Drill-down are displayed in the grid 2.
In both All Locations and Location grids, you can select either count or quantity as a base for the data display.
- Count: Base — the number of alerts activated.
- Quantity: Base — the alert data.
Additional information
You can select:
- Search : look for an item.
- Filter : filter grid data based on the condition selected from the dropdown that appears in the right-hand panel.
- Sort : sort grid data based on alerts, rows, or columns.
- Show/Hide : show or hide alerts, rows, or columns.
- Comment on card : to comment on the card.
- Exports: export the current view.
