This page offers the supply plan flexibility to update the pull forward demand.
Select the production plant from the context selector.
Updating Pull Forward Demand
The Additional Insights panel is used to create a pull forward plan based on the review of the constraint event.
Select the Hide Pull Forward checkbox. You can also select the Hide Capacity Shortfall checkbox.
The bar chart represents EF Hours Pulled Forward, EF Hours Reduced, Hours Needed, Pull Forward Capacity Usage, and Hours Available.
Steps
- Identify the number of units to pull forward.
- Capacity shortfall and run rate determine the number of units to be pulled forward.
- Then enter the pull forward quantity in the Reduce Units (U) field.
- Check the available capacity in the previous periods (pull forward periods).
- Available Capacity (Units to Pull Forward) = Pull Forward * Run Rate
- Select the pull forward plan. It enables you to assign additional demand across previous pull forward periods.
- Check the resolving constraint event graph to verify that the Utilization After Constraint (%) is greater or equal to Maximum Utilization (%).
