This page enables you to create new transfer lanes for the distribution centers. Transfer lanes specify the source and target distribution centers, with the source distribution centers on the vertical axis, and the target distribution centers on the horizontal axis.

Transfer lanes are color coded.

Steps

Create ‌Transfer Lanes

Based on the location's master data, all the possible combinations are displayed in the transfer lanes screen.  

  1. Select the specific Source and Target distribution center combination checkbox to create a new transfer lane. 
  2. Select Create Transfer Lanes. The create transfer lanes process is initiated.
  3. Select Transfer Lane Properties to update the lead times of the newly created transfer lane in Update Transfer Lane Properties page. Created transfer lanes are highlighted in a light blue color. 

Additional information

  • Light Blue: The transfer lane already exists. 
  • Dark Blue: A new transfer lane will be created. 
  • White: The transfer lane doesn't exist.
