This page allows you to create, edit, and delete opportunities used to manage sales. Additionally, it enables you to assign items.

By default, the card only displays opportunities created in the application. To display opportunities created by other means, for example those imported, select Show All Opportunities.

Note: You can't change imported opportunities on this page.

The Opportunity Headers card allows you to manage the opportunity headers with the product item details.

SourceDisplays the opportunity's source. For example, CRM or User.
DisplayNameDisplays the opportunity's name.
CustomerDisplays the opportunity's customer.
Value (R)Displays the opportunity value calculated from the Quantity (U) multiplied by the Price entered in the Opportunity Item card.
StageDisplays the stage the opportunity is in.
ProbabilityDisplays a percentage value of how likely the opportunity will be realized.
Forecast DateDisplays the opportunity's forecasted start date.
Recur Value UntilAllows you to specify a date when the opportunity header's recurring value ends.
SalespersonDisplays the salesperson linked to the opportunity.
Delete?Select this option to delete an opportunity header if it is no longer required. 

To add an opportunity header:

  1. Select Add Opportunity Header.
  2. Specify values for DisplayName, Customer, Stage, Probability, Forecast Date, and Salesperson.
  3. Select Submit.

Note: When deleting an opportunity header, its opportunity items are also deleted. 

To delete an opportunity header and its opportunity items:

  1. Select the Delete box in the Opportunity Headers card.
  2. Select Delete Opportunity Headers and Items. A progress dialog displays and closes once the deletion completes.

To delete an opportunity item without deleting its opportunity header:

  1. Select the Delete box in the Opportunity Items card.
  2. Select Delete Opportunity Items. A progress dialog displays and closes once the deletion completes.

The Opportunity Items card displays the item details for the header record selected in the Opportunity Headers card:

ProductDisplays the opportunity's product.
Quantity (U)Displays the number of units for the opportunity.
PriceDisplays the unit price for the opportunity.
Value (R)Displays the calculated value for the opportunity based on the Quantity (U) multiplied by the Price.

The Opportunity Items card allows you to select items for inclusion in the Opportunity Header, and enter other required data:

Quantity (U)Displays the unit value of the product item.
System PriceBy default, the field displays the price in the application, but you can override this. Prices are in the base currency.
Override PriceSpecify a price to override the System Price.
EF PriceDisplays the confirmed price used in the opportunity item record.
ValidateIndicates whether the opportunity item already exists in the opportunity record. If it does, the cell displays Opportunity Item Exists highlighted in red.

To add an opportunity item, select Add Opportunity Item. A progress dialog displays and closes once the deletion completes.
