This page displays and highlights whether there are any policy records that are disconnected from a parent record. You can select and delete orphan records here.
Orphans occur when users add items to a hierarchy without selecting a parent. It is generally safe to delete these orphans.
The page displays orphans in these categories:
- Inventory Planning: Inventory Policies - Displays invalid inventory policies
- Inventory Planning: Policy Overrides - Displays invalid policy overrides.
- Inventory Planning: Policy Expirations - Displays expired inventory policies.
- Sourcing: Sustainability Questions - Displays unassigned sustainability questions present in D3793 - Manage Sustainability Questions.
Steps
To delete an orphan:
- Find one or more orphan records you want to delete.
- Select the checkbox next to them.
- Select the delete button under the list.
