Active Consensus Plan
Parameters
An admin can manage these parameters, at a global level, in D1000 - Global Demand Parameters.
Effective Parameters are values that are currently set. Edit Parameters allows you to enter new values for the same parameters. When you enter a value, it becomes an effective parameter.
Parameter | Value |
Active Consensus Plan | Use this parameter to specify the default basis for the plan. Options are: Demand Plan, Commercial Plan, and Prior Consensus Plan. |
The active basis can also be specified by planning period. See Override Consensus Basis.
Stat Forecast Basis, Planning Status, and View Settings
These cards display statuses and settings for your consensus planning:
Stat Forecast Basis: provides a status to confirm the basis for the statistical forecast given in the plan.
Planning Status: displays the plan lock status. If the plan open for editing, the indicator displays Consensus Plan Open in green. If the plan is locked for editing, the indicator displays Consensus Plan Locked and you can't edit. See D1010 Current Period/Plan Locking in for further details.
Parameters
Parameters | Values |
View Years Future | Set the number of future years to view. If you enter more than the maximum history available, then the maximum available is shown. |
View Period Type | Since planning is based on the fiscal year, this setting has been made at the global level in D1000 - Global Parameters, and this setting should be used throughout. |
Table: Totals Only | This option enables you to display the values in the table as monthly or annual periods. Check the box to display annual period value totals only. |
Note: The View Settings panel enables the specification of the settings for data visibility in the application’s charts and tables.
For most parameters in the system, entering a value of 0 at the process level (customer-product) inherits the global default value. However, for the chart settings, use -1 to inherit default values and 0 to show 0 years data.
