The Inventory Aging Snapshot page provides key metrics about the status of your inventory. This includes how long each item of inventory typically spends in storage before being sold or used.

Inventory aging is calculated based on the Current Date for Aging Calculations and groups stock units based on the categories defined in D3012 - Inventory Reporting: Inventory Age Categories

The bar graph represents product inventory by distribution center (DC), categorized by age, and displays either quantities or value of products.

Data on the graph displays either Inventory Quantity (number of units) or Inventory Value (Dollar value of the stock), from the context selector in the bottom left corner.

This section provides a tabular representation of age-categorized product inventory by DC — Product.

This table represents product inventory categorized by age and data center. You can select either Inventory Quantity (number of units) or Inventory Value (Dollar value of the stock), from the context selector in the bottom left corner.

Current Date for Aging Calculations — Allows the current date to be derived, so that the age of the inventory can be established. You can select:

  • Current Period: Start — The first date of the current period.
  • Current Period: Middle — The mid-date of the current period.
  • Current Period: End — The last date of the current period.
