The Base Plan Inputs card allows you to add attributes and additional information against the base plan, for a product/customer/period. It uses these to build toward a final collaboration plan and allows:

  • Teams to collaborate on items to enhance the accuracy of the forecast for the base collaborative plan.
  • Add start dates and seasonal profiles to the baseline plan to make it more sophisticated.
  • Bring in customer information via 2nd Tier, which enable greater collaboration on items with the customers forecast and information.

The Base Plan Composition - Units and Base Plan - Revenue charts show the expected visual units and revenue. The values are based on the parameters used and any items added to the base plan. The charts show:

  • The layering of new items on top of the forecast.

Any adjustments made to promotions are applied to a final collaborative plan (units and price). Any contributions are listed, including COGS and contributions (ink margin %).
