This page enables you to create and manage the processes related to Forecast Archiving, locking plans, and managing alerts.
Forecast Archiving
The features in this pane enable you to select which data you want to use for your latest consensus archives, commercial archives and demand archives.
Steps
To manage your forecast archives:
- Select the hyperlink in 1. Manage Forecast Archives to open D1900H - Manage Archives and Forecast Accuracy Settings Dashboard.
- Select the Refresh Prior Plans button.
- In the Refresh Prior Plans dialog, select Run Process.
- Once the process is complete, select Close to return to the page.
- Select the Refresh Forecasts for Forecast Accuracy button.
- In the Refresh Forecasts for Forecast Accuracy dialog, select Run Process.
- Once the process is complete, select Close to return to the page.
Update Current Period
Before you start
Configure the Current Period in D0010 - Update Current Period, in the Data Hub app before changing the current period in the Demand Planning app.
This panel enables you to override the current period which is used in the model, according to the time settings. It is recommended that Current Period is controlled within the Data Hub.
Parameters
Parameters | Values |
Current Period | You can select a value to override the current period which is used in the model according to the time settings. |
Override Current Period | You can select a value to select a time period from a drop-down list to override the Current Period. |
EF Current Period | This parameter reports the current period in the app. This displays the time period from Current Period unless a time period has been selected within Override Current period. |
Steps
You can import the current period settings from the Data Hub app. To do this:
- Select the Import Current Period from Data Hub button.
- In the Import Current period from Data Hub dialog. Select Run Process.
- Once the process completes, select Close.
Lock Plans
Before you start
This is a dependency of the D1001w - Admin Checklist dashboard.
This function enables you to lock plans once you have completed the monthly planning cycle. Plans should be locked to prevent them from adjustment.
Parameters

Lock Demand Plan | You check this box to lock the plan and block any adjustments made to it. The cell highlights in light red once a lock is in place and the status indicator on the corresponding page will display a locked sign. The lock status displays on the D1170 - Demand Planning page. |

Lock Marketing Plan | You check this box to lock the plan and block any adjustments made to it. The cell highlights in light red once a lock is in place and the status indicator on the corresponding page will display a locked sign. The lock status displays on the D1400 - Market Segment Planning page. |
Lock Opportunity Management | You check this box to lock the plan and block any adjustments made to it. The cell highlights in light red once a lock is in place and the status indicator on the corresponding page will display a locked sign. Lock Promotions Planning | You check this box to lock the plan and block any adjustments made to it. Steps
Select a checkbox in Lock Plans to lock any of the listed plans. Uncheck the box to unlock it.
Alerts - Overrides Rolling Outside Model Calendar
This provides a summary of any alerts throughout the application, via the column Alert Count. These alerts derive from overrides that have rolled outside the calendar periods currently within the model and require attention.
The cells in the rows on the left identify which dashboard the alerts are related to.
Roll Forward Parameters
This panel enables you to manage and roll forward any overrides currently in place.

Roll forward alert start period | This enables the user to select a period from a drop-down list which the system will use to identify the overrides in place after this period.

Roll Overrides forward (Future) | Enables you to manage any overrides currently in the future according to the current period set in the App. |
GL Roll Overrides forward (Future) | This displays the effective parameters which are set in the D1000 - Global Demand Parameters page. |
Roll Overrides forward (History) | Enables you to manage any overrides currently in the past according to the ‘current period’ set in the App.

Steps
To roll overrides forward:
- Select the Roll overrides forward button.
- In the Roll Overrides Forward dialog, select Run Process.
- Once the process is complete, select Close to return to the page.
Alert Details
These panels display the override alerts within each page. This includes the specific product, time period, the override value, a cell to exclude this override from the roll forward process, and the EF Transfer Period.
The panels display detailed breakdowns of the content of the alerts summary for:
- Alert details: Demand Planning Override
- Alert details: Commercial Planning units / ROS override
- Alert details: Commercial planning Store Count override
- Alert details: Historic Store Count override
- Alert details: CTO Planning override
