This page provides insights into the management of historic return on sales (ROS).

To change the data that displays on the page, select an option from the context selectors on the top-right. You can specify the context as the combination of customer and product data to display.

Use the Customer Filter and Product Filter fields to filter on a specific customer and product.

Parameters are set by a System Administrator at the global level and apply to all product-customer combinations (see Global Parameters page). The parameters are shown in the Edit Parameters pane, under Effective Parameters.

  • You can adjust the parameters for the specified product-customer combination using the fields shown in the Edit Parameters pane.
  • When you adjust parameters for a specified combination, the adjusted settings display under  Effective Parameters. Such parameter changes aren't applied globally.

Active Commercial PlanThe standard configuration provides options for the basis of the commercial plan. However, you can use the units option in the immediate deployment of the configuration.
Default Commercial Plan

You can specify the default values for the commercial plan. You can manually override the default values. Select the option field and then select an option to confirm the setting.

  • Stat Forecast (derives the default values from the statistical forecast)
  • Corrected prior year history.
  • Zero (defaults all commercial plan values to zero).
Perpetuate ROS OverridesThis parameter overrides values to be perpetuated from the period in which the initial override value is entered to all following periods.

The process check is a process warning to make sure that planning and dashboards are related. Use the process check to warn others if the commercial basis isn't the same as the current page.

This card indicates if the Commercial Plan is open or closed.

Check the box for Effective Only (Refresh).

The cards display the Selected History (U) and the Historic Rate of Sale (ROS). You can review the historic rate of sale for the product-customer combination you made in the context selectors, on a week-by-week basis

This chart displays the store count of sales for the product-customer combination you made in the context selectors, on a week-by-week basis.

This table displays the adjusted historic store counts, from the Adjusted Historic Rate of Sale source module. This is based on the product-customer combination you made in the context selectors, on a week-by-week basis.

You can manage and adjust the override for store count, if the effective parameter is based on rate of sale for the active commercial plan.
