This page provides a summary of the demand planning parameters. The parameters are set for each product customer combination and you can edit them at product and customer level.

You can select the customer from the context selector in the top-right of the page. There are options for all levels of customer hierarchy, but you must select a customer account as promotion plans are specific to a customer. Select a customer from the list at the top right of the page, or manually enter the required value using the search function.

Default DP Forecast Price
  • System Price: The value defaults from customer-product price held in the Data Hub: D0417 System Pricing and Standard Cost, converted to the base price using the currency exchange values held in the Data Hub: D0419w Exchange Rates.
  • Calculated ASP: This value uses a system calculated Average Selling Price derived from the number of planning periods specified in Periods History for ASP
Periods History for ASPThe data in this column gives the number of planning periods specified to calculate the Calculated ASP. Enter a number to edit the values. 
Default Demand Plan

Gives you the option to select the basis for the demand plan. 

  • Zero (U): Select to set the default demand plan as Zero for the specific product-customer combination. It allows the demand plan to be built without pre-populated values. 
  • Stat Forecast: Select to set the default demand plan to the statistical forecast for selected product-customer combination. It allows the demand plan to be built using statistical forecast values. 
  • Final Commercial Plan: Select to set the default demand plan to the final commercial plan for selected product-customer combination. The values are derived from the line-item Final Commercial Plan (U) in D1200 Commercial Planning
  • Prior Demand Plan: Select to set the default demand plan as the Demand plan for the Prior period for the specific product-customer combination. 
Perpetuate Unit OverridesSelect this box to make sure any override values entered in Demand Forecast Override (U) applies to all future planning periods. 
EF Default DP Forecast Price, EF Periods History for ASP, and EF Default Demand PlanThe values displayed in these columns confirm the data inputs. These parameters are managed at the global level in D1000 Global Demand Parameters > 1170: Demand Planning Parameters or at product level as explained above.
