This page allows you to review and edit XYZ status for product by customer and commit to the customer and product core business data.

Before you start

Use the context selector at the top-right to select a location. Additionally, you can manually enter the required value using the search function.

Legend

This card displays if current categorization is system recommended or not. If the cell has a clear background, this shows the current categorization is system recommended. If the cell is highlighted yellow, this shows the current categorization isn't system recommended.

XYZ Status

The XYZ Current chart shows the XYZ categorization for the current values by product.

The XYZ (System Recommended) chart shows the system recommended count of customers for the selected product.

The XYZ (Final) chart shows the values used by the system by product.

To display the XYZ values for system-recommended, current, and final values by product group, select the product in the table, or from the dropdown.

Current XYZ

These values are dependent on a parameter in 900 – Global Parameters. The current segmentation values are:

  • Core data from the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • A value calculated in the application at a particular point in time and stored. 
  • A live calculated segmentation.
System Recommended XYZSystem-generated segmentation values without user override values.
Override XYZYou can enter override values in this column, subject to the parameters specified in 900 – Global Parameters. Override values are highlighted and update the values in the Final XYZ to Update and Final ABC–XYZ to Update columns.
Final XYZ to UpdateThe values confirmed for use by the system.
Final ABC–XYZ to UpdateThe values confirmed for use by the system.

Parameters

The parameters are shown in the Effective Parameters card. You can configure the parameters in the Edit Parameters card. When you update parameters, the new values are shown in the Effective Parameters card, and are applied globally.

Specify how updates are applied:

  • Overrides Only: Only updates items where Override ABC is populated.
  • System and Overrides: Updates all displayed items.

Steps

To update the XYZ values specified in Override XYZ parameter, select Update Prod Cust XYZ. This runs processes to update the values in the system.
