This page enables you to review the forecast accuracy by time range, and edit and configure time ranges to review both product and customer level data.

In this page, you can view and configure customized time ranges for forecast accuracy measurements. Typically, this activity is reviewed and set in the initial implementation, but you can add, edit, and delete time measurements. 

You can use the table to edit the time measurement values.

NameTo edit the time measurement name, double-click the cell and enter a new name.
Lead Time Offset, Weeks

This parameter specifies the number of planning periods to be used as lead time offset for forecast error calculations.

To edit the lead time offset, select a value from the dropdown.

Period To Sum, Weeks

This parameter specifies the number of planning periods to sum in the calculation of Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE).

To edit the period to sum, select a value from the dropdown

Conditional Format Threshold Green (< Error %)To edit the percentage of error to apply for the green format, enter a new percentage in the field.
Conditional Format Threshold Amber (< Error %)To edit the percentage of error to apply for the amber format, enter a new percentage in the field.
Delete?To delete the time range, select the checkbox and select Delete Selected PL705 Forecast Measurement Ranges.

To add time measurements:

  1. Select Create Measurement Time Range.
  2. Enter a name for the time measurement in the Name field.
  3. Select a number to be used as the lead time from the Lead Time Offset, Weeks dropdown.
  4. Select a number to be used as the planning period to sum from the Period To Sum, Weeks dropdown.
  5. Select Submit.

With the output table, you can view your measurement range setup on a week-by-week basis to view the short, mid, and long-term horizons for forecast accuracy.
