Manage NPI Bill of Materials
Before you start
Use the All Products and Scenarios context selectors on the top-right of the page to set the context for the data.
You can add, configure, and delete components from a product. The Total Cost and Number of Components values in the chart below automatically populate as you enter data.

Cost per UoM | Specify a number (dollars). |
Delete? | Select to delete an item. |
Steps
To add or delete a component from a product:
- In the Manage NPI Bill of Materials table, locate the product to add a component to.
- Below the product, in the row titled (spare NPI BOMs, please enter data to begin using) type the details as listed in the parameter table.
- To add more components to a product, select Show Next Available NPI BOM. An empty row displays.
- To delete a component, select Delete?. An automatic overnight process deletes the record.
The Total Cost and Number of Components values in the New Product Cost Output charts automatically populate as you enter data.
