Use this page to model planned capital investments. You can model investments either at an individual asset level, or based on a group of assets with similar characteristics (examples: asset type, in-service date, order date, or depreciation method).


CapEx Plan by asset detail

  1. Use the top dropdowns to set the:
    • Entity
    • Department
    • Forecast scenario (last dropdown)
  2. Check or clear the boxes in the column CWIP Eligible?
    (CWIP means capital work-in-progress)

In the grid, you can select an asset type and project with the dropdown menu and create an asset description to help further identify each asset type. Once the remaining column detail is added, pre-calculated fields populate based on your value inputs.

Fixed Asset Rollforward

Use the top dropdowns to set the:

  • Month and year
  • Forecast scenario 

The Fixed Asset Rollforward grid displays the impact of the inputs made previously on the CapEx Plan by Asset page, for each line item represented.
