Select a product for the context selector at the top right of the page, or manually enter the required value using the search function.
Sales forecast development is supported by several reference inputs, providing historical demand, open orders, demand plan, prior consensus plan, and promotion and opportunity uplifts. Calculation of the sales forecast comes from the statistical forecast by default, or built from a zero base according to a user selected parameter. In both cases the manual entry of other values can override the base values.
There are two options to build the sales forecast. You can provide:
- A greater level of data including promotions, opportunities, and bundle revenue apportionment, to create a forecast for a specific product and customer combination.
- Less detail that allows you to create forecasts for multiple product and customer combinations.
See D1150 - Consensus Planning for how to manage the sales forecast.

Manage Bundle Revenue
Parameters
Parameters are normally set by a system administrator at a global level, and are displayed in the Effective Parameters card. They apply to all product customer combinations. However, you can override the parameter values locally, for a product and customer combination, by setting values in the Edit Parameters card:
Parameter | Value |
Revenue Basis | Revenue to Bundle: Allocates the revenue to either the:
|
Perpetuate Overrides | If selected, values in the Override Allocation (%) cell in the Effective Allocation (%) card are added to the current and all future months. |
Steps
The Default Revenue Allocation % card displays the products included in the bundle item record. If you've selected Revenue to Items in the Revenue Basis parameter, you must specify an Allocation (%) value for the product. The value represents the percentage of revenue you want allocated to the bundle items.
If the total allocation sum to products in the bundle item record is:
- Less than 100%, it's highlighted in red and the balance is retained at the bundle level.
- Greater than 100%, it's flagged in red and rebalanced to 100%.
Note: The Default Revenue Allocation (%) applies to all time periods unless overridden in the Effective Allocation % card.
The Effective Allocation (%) chart displays the breakdown of revenue allocation between the bundle items over the time periods. The chart is updated with any changes or manual entries made in the Effective Allocation (%) table.
The Effective Allocation (%) table displays the breakdown or revenue allocation between the bundle items values entered in the Default Allocation %.
- Default Allocation (%): Displays the value entered in the Default Revenue Allocations % card.
- Override Allocation (%): Allows you to override the percentage Default Revenue Allocations % value.
- Effective Allocation (%): Displays the allocation percentage in the Effective Allocation (%) card.
Manage Bundle Costs
Parameters
Parameters are normally set by a system administrator at a global level, and are displayed in the Effective Parameters card. They apply to all product customer combinations. You can override the parameter values locally, for a product and customer combination, by setting values in the Edit Parameters card.
The Effective Parameter card values are not adjusted if the parameters for the bundle item record are adjusted. Any adjustments only apply to the selected bundle item record. Global settings remain unaffected.

Additional information
The Manage Bundle Costs chart displays:
- System Standard Cost (R/U): Displays the standard system cost for the selected bundle item across time periods.
- Forecast Standard Cost (R/U): Displays the forecasted standard cost. The standard cost is configured in the Manage Standard Costs page if a Standard Cost Uplift percentage is set on the selected bundle item. If the Effective? option is unselected in the standard cost page, the forecast standard value is not displayed.
Note: Standard cost data is not present in the application and this feature does not display any values.
