You can use this page to view alerts at customer and product category levels for several measures. These measures include bias, forecast accuracy, contribution and MAPE/accuracy target bands, and demand sensing for a specified plan input and number of review periods.

Alert parameters enable you to set thresholds for product-level alerts, by customer.

These parameters are typically set by a System Administrator at the global level in the D1000 - Global Demand Parameters dashboard and apply to all product-customer combinations.

Effective Parameters are values that are currently set. Edit Parameters allows you to enter new values for the same parameters. When you enter a value, it becomes an effective parameter.

ParametersValues
Plan For Alerts

Select an input plan to be used to drive the alerts:

  • Commercial Plan
  • Demand Plan
  • Consensus Plan
Alert LevelEnter the variance measure percentage from which alerts are to be reported.

Forecast Accuracy Measure

Displays the method used to measure forecast accuracy. This displays either: MAPE or Forecast Accuracy

This parameter is set in D1920H and D1921H

Bias Range Min / Bias Range MaxEnter the minimum and maximum values for the bias alert, in percentage values.
Margin IsEnter the basis for the margin alert as More Than or Less Than the specified Target Margin
Target MarginEnter a target margin percentage value on which to report alerts.
Over Future PeriodsEnter the number of periods over which the alerts are to be reported.

The Customer Alerts and Product Category Alerts tables report alerts. You select a customer row in the Customer Alerts table, then a product category row in the Product Category Alerts, to produce a customer-product category combination in the Customer-Product Drill-down table.

Each of the tables contains a context selector in its bottom-left corner. This is called the report basis. Use the context selectors to select the bases for alert reporting.

ParametersValues
Count: BaseSelect this parameter to display the number of alerts activated, which sums to aggregate levels.
Quantity: BaseSelect this parameter to display the alert data, which sums to aggregate levels if applicable.
Alert: AggregateSelect this parameter if you want the table to display positive if the alert was triggered at the aggregate level, for example, if the MAPE for a product category exceeds xx%.
Quantity: AggregateSelect this parameter to display the alert data calculated at the aggregate levels, if applicable, and summed elsewhere.

When you change the values shown in the tables, there's no syncing between the tables.
