ABC
Use this card to define ABC product classifications and values.
Parameters

| ABC Name | This parameter is the name given to the ABC categorization. |
| Pareto Limit | This parameter is the pareto percentage limit value applied to the ABC category. |
| ABC Code | This parameter is the system code applied to the ABC name. |
| Delete? | Select this checkbox to identify the ABC code you want to delete. |

XYZ
Use this card to manage the XYZ classification of customers, based on their demand patterns or characteristics.

| XYZ Name | This parameter is the name given to the XYZ categorization. |

| XYZ Code | This parameter is the system code applied to the XYZ name. |

ABC-XYZ Formatting
The first step in the management of ABC-XYZ is to specify the parameters. You may set parameters in the Edit Parameters card or in D1000 - Global Demand Parameters. The parameters you set are displayed in the Effective Parameters card to confirm the settings applied.

| Override or system default | Select which format you want to use for the ABC and XYZ values. The override values are entered in the ABC and XYZ Color Coding cards:

| GL Override or system default | This cell displays the parameter which is currently in effect. If a selection has been made in the Override or system default parameter, that selection is shown in this cell. If the Override or system default parameter is blank, then this cell shows the selection made in D1000 Global demand parameters. |
ABC and XYZ Color Coding
To determine the color formatting for ABC-XYZ categories, use the scores for ABC values and XYZ values shown in the ABC and XYZ Color Coding tables

| Default ABC/XYZ Value | This value displays the system default value for categorization displayed in the row. This value has been set in D1000 - Global demand parameters. |
| Override ABC/XYZ Value | This cell enables you to enter a value which will be selected when the override selection is made within the parameters for the categorization displayed in the row. |
| Effective ABC/XYZ Value | This cell displays the parameter which is currently in effect. |
Additional information
A score for A of 1 and X of 1 gives an A-X (total) score of 2.
The color range is dark green for -2, yellow for 0, and red for 2.
