This page enables you to determine the effective start date of a product. It provides you with a visual display for demand of selected history (U), chained history (U), and effective window.
Before you start
Use the context selectors at the top-right to select a product. Additionally, you can manually enter the required values using the search function.
Use the Product Filter field to filter on a specific product.
Select a Time View Settings to focus on a specific timeframe.

View Years History | This is the number of years history to view. If you enter more than the maximum history available, only the maximum available is shown. |

The Product Effectivity Graph – Selected History and Product Effectivity Graph – Chained History charts display demand for a product in its effective period.
Parameter | Description |
Effective Window | Shown as a yellow box in the chart to display the effective periods according to the specified effective basis. |
Selected History (U) | The selected history in units. |
Chained History (U) | The chained history in units. |
The Product Effectivity – Selected History Table and Product Effectivity – Chained History Table enables you to review the matching periods and the demand for the product in units.

Additional information
The product sets the effectivity parameters, with product effectivity calculated at the product–customer level.
Product start dates are only honored if the policy 3. Product Start Date is selected.
Product discontinued dates are honored in all policies.
