Use this page to forecast on the profit and loss (P&L) account with pre-built forecasting trends.

Trend-based forecast method 

  1. Use the dropdowns to select the:
    • Entity (top of page)
    • Department
    • Account 
    • Forecast scenario 
  2. For each account input a Planning trend - Override and a Planning trend rate - Override. 

Review and adjust amount in LC (local currency)

  1. Use the topdropdowns to select the:
    • Entity 
    • Department
    • Account 
    • Forecast scenario 
  2. Review the monthly forecast amount and make monthly overrides as necessary.
  3. You can either: 
    • Input the override value in the Adjustment - Percent fields.
    • Check the box in the Override Amount? field.
  4. Input the override value in the Override - Amount field.

Trend chart 

  1. Use the topdropdowns to select the:
    • Entity 
    • Department
    • Account 
    • Forecast scenario 
  2. Review the trend-based forecast for each trend.
