Use this page to make direct entries, or import and forecast into Anaplan

To set up allocation rules: 

  1. Set up a new allocation rule with the numbered list in the page selector.
  2. Select the dropdowns for the  entity or department intersections to apply as the source of the allocation.
  3. Use the grid titled Select Source Accounts to select the relevant accounts to allocate based on a partial or full allocation.
  4. For each source account selected, choose the percentage of the account to allocate and an allocation driver. You can use drivers based on full-time employee information or with a manual percentage input.
  5. Since values are allocated to all entity and department combinations by default, use the grids titled Select Target Entities and Select Target Departments to exclude any entity/department combinations from the target of the allocation.

    • Department 
    • Currency
    • Account row
    • Time period
    • Forecast scenario

Use the dropdowns to set the:

    • Currency 
    • Account row

Select source accounts

Use the top dropdowns to set the:

    • Entity
    • Department
    • Account row
    • Forecast scenario (last dropdown)

Select target entities

Check or clear boxes in the column Exclude from Target Allocation.

Select target cost centers

Check or clear boxes in the column Exclude from Target Allocation.

Select target accounts

Use the dropdown to set the forecast scenario.
