Use this page to define an expense as either an accrual or a pre-paid. You must enter a payment date, and a payment input in the middle grid on this page. ‌You can also gain insight into expense timing and management.

Top grid

  1. Use the dropdowns to select the:
    • Entity 
    • Department
    • Forecast scenario 
  2. Review the values from the inputs in the second and third grid.

Enter accrual and prepaid line items (middle grid)

  1. Use the dropdowns to select the:
    • Entity 
    • Department
    • Forecast scenario 
  2. To add vendors:
    • Use the rows to enter the Vendor, Description, REQ: Start Date, REQ: End Date, and REQ: Payment Date.
    • Check or clear the checkboxes in the Accrual & Prepaid column.

Enter line item monthly expense (bottom grid)

  1. Use the dropdowns to select the:
    • Entity 
    • Department
    • Forecast scenario 
  2. To add overrides:
    1. Check or clear the Override? boxes in the month columns.
    2. Enter the Amount - Override in the month columns.
