The Routine Maintenance section allows you to create and manage the period rollover, product effectivity, and manage forecast archive parameter values. It also allows you to control how they're used throughout the application.
The key components of the Routine Maintenance section are:
- Period Rollover: Enables you to create and manage processes associated with rolling forward to a new planning period.
- Product Effectivity: Helps you determine the start date for each product by specifying effectivity at the product level from a range of options. The page provides a visual display for demand of chained and selected history overlaid with effectivity.
- Manage Forecast Archives: Helps you to create, edit, and delete forecast archive records and manage the existing archive. These are the disaggregated forecasts from the product and customer combination in Demand Planning, to the product, customer, and location combination in Inventory Planning.
