The Reporting section has different dashboards reporting on the health of the inventory.
The key components of the Reporting section are:
- DC Disaggregation GeoMapping: Provides the rounded disaggregated consensus forecast report based on the selected product, customer and scenario combination.
- Inventory by DC and Days of Supply: Displays inventory and remaining days supply by distribution center. You can also review how inventory levels relative to demand (days of supply) evolve over time.
- Inventory Summary by UoM: Enables you to review the inventory plan output in different units of measurement (UoM).
- Inventory Policies GeoMapping: Helps you to review excess inventory, new shortfall, and opening inventory by product across locations.
- Excess and Shortfall Inventory by DC: Lets you determine the areas where a product is surplus in one place and deficient in another. This can serve as a starting point for potential inventory transfers.
- Inventory Aging Snapshot: Displays key metrics about the status of your inventory, including how long each inventory item typically spends in storage before being sold or used.
- Inventory Aging Simulation: Offers a way of simulating your inventory aging based on existing age categories. You can review how the age profile of the inventory is projected to evolve over time.
- Inventory RSL Snapshot: Allows you to display the remaining shelf-life (RSL) of your inventory, by product and distribution center. The page groups the shelf-life into different configurable bands for ease of viewing.
- Expired Inventory Report: Identifies inventory that's been manually recorded as expired in the inventory plan.
- Expiry Risk: Enables you to determine the risk associated with current inventory that may expire in the future with the forecasted demand.
- Waterfall Analysis: Helps you to carry out forecast accuracy analysis for a specified date range. You can analyze by plan, plan input, and period against actual demand in both unit and revenue terms. This provides valuable insight into the accuracy of each of the Consensus Plan's inputs. It also gives direction based on the selection by period when creating the plan.
- Reporting: Forecast Accuracy and Bias: Allows you to perform forecast accuracy reporting and analysis by plan, plan input, and period against actual demand.
- Analysis: Forecast Accuracy and Bias: Helps you perform forecast accuracy reporting and analysis by plan, plan input, and period against actual demand at the product and location level.
