Track supplier purchases required for raw materials that are constrained.

The 380 – Constrained Materials page provides a detailed overview of raw materials that are critical, scarce, or have long lead times. This helps you track the availability, usage, and replenishment of these materials to prevent production delays and optimize resource allocation.

Use the context selector dropdown at the top of the page to select a product, process, or raw material, location, and a production scenario. Additionally, you can select from the context selectors present at the bottom of each chart.

Specify a Periods to Display value in the left hand panel to set the time period for data displayed in the charts and table.

In the left hand panel table, you can view if any raw material is constrained along with its utilization percentage.

  • First dual-axis bar and line chart: Provides you with a time period overview of raw materials that are required and / or available.
  • Second bar chart: Shows you weekly production process usage of raw materials.
  • Third chart: Provides you with a detailed weekly breakdown of raw material and supplier volume.

Note: Use legends to view information for any week. Select a legend to show its details in the chart. Hover the cursor over a chart legend to display the legend's values in the chart. Hover the cursor over the data curve to display the data point values.

When you make modifications to a page or any associated pages in the app, these changes might not automatically update across related processes or scenarios.

Select Run Optimizer to integrate these changes and ensure consistency and accuracy across all pages. The display is updated to show the most current results based on the changes made. When you run the Optimizer, the updated data is copied to the respective processes of the selected scenario.
