Track the raw material current availability and requirements for a production plan. Additionally, analyze all the production processes in which the raw materials are being consumed.
The 314 – Raw Materials Required page enables you to visually track and manage purchases of raw materials for a production plan. It enables you to review the consumption of raw materials in different production processes.
Use the context selector dropdowns at the top of the page to select raw materials, suppliers, and a production scenario.
Specify a Periods to Display value in the left hand panel to set the time period for data displayed in the charts and table.
Additionally, you can select raw materials from the context selector at the bottom of charts.
- First dual-axis bar and line chart: The bar chart represents the raw materials required for upcoming production schedules, while the line chart overlays the availability of these materials.
- Second bar chart: Represents raw materials consumed across various production processes.
- Table: Shows volumes of required raw materials, purchases made, internal consumption, and projected inventory.
Select or deselect Critical materials filter to show or hide critical resource details from the page.
Note: Use legends to view information for any week. Select a legend to show its details in the chart. Hover the cursor over a chart legend to display the legend's values in the chart. Hover the cursor over the data curve to display the data point values.
Additional information
When you make modifications to a page or any associated pages in the app, these changes might not automatically update across related processes or scenarios.
Select Run Optimizer to integrate these changes and ensure consistency and accuracy across all pages. The display is updated to show the most current results based on the changes made. When you run the Optimizer, the updated data is copied to the respective processes of the selected scenario.
