Review and analyze detectable examples where production data is invalid or likely to result in a plan with no production.

The 920 – Input Validations page enables you to evaluate data and scenarios where the input data can lead to failed or zero production. It helps you ensure that production data is accurate, which can result in reduction of risks, and enhances ‌overall performance.

You can review demands where the sales price is lower than the lowest possible cost of making the product in the Sales Price lower than the lowest cost table. This high-level check helps you identify raw materials or products that can cause problems in a production process.

The values in the Total minimum costs are based on theoretical lowest values and may not be possible to achieve once all constraints are considered. Additionally, it is only based on costs associated with immediate BOM requirements.

You can track all the raw materials that are unusable as they have a shelf life less than lead time in the Raw materials where shelf life < Lead time table.

In the Combinations where demand cannot be met table, you can review all product, plant, and customer combinations where demand can't be met because:

  • The customer doesn't accept the product.
  • No plants can manufacture the product.
  • Raw material shelf lives are shorter than ‌lead times.
  • Manufacturing of products requires raw materials that aren't available or for which supplier configurations haven't been set.

The Required raw materials with no supply table allows you to track the necessary raw materials for a process across different plants, where no specific raw material supply is allocated to a particular plant.

Use Select Scenario to Validate – Process to integrate these changes and ensure consistency and accuracy across all pages. The display is updated to show the most current results based on the changes made.
