Review product and manufacturing costs and profit for an optimized production scenario.
The 980 – Optimizer objective analysis page enables you to evaluate net profit, purchase, manufacturing, overtime, stock holding, and penalty costs for an optimized production scenario. It helps you make decisions on how resources are allocated, schedules are set, and priorities are managed.
Note: Net profit may differ slightly if specific time periods are excluded from reporting or set to Round numbers for reporting in 980 – Time and Global settings.
Use the context selector dropdowns at the top of the page to select a product, raw material, or a process, customer, a production scenario, and a time period.
Specify a Periods to Display value in the left hand panel to set the time period for data displayed in the charts and table.
Use the visual comparison to study optimized scenarios and its impact on production planning.
The Optimizer objective analysis chart displays the value of key metrics. For example, net and gross profit, manufacturing and overtime costs, penalties, and combined objective function costs.
The table provides a week-wise overview of metrics like gross and net profit, purchase costs, manufacturing costs, overtime costs, and penalties for the selected optimized production scenario.
