Create and maintain a new set of demo names.

The 970 – Manage Names for Demos page allows you to create and manage a new set of demo datasets. These datasets include names of products, resources, processes, locations, suppliers, customers, and storage facilities.

Use the context selector dropdown at the top of the page to select a demo dataset to use. 

Add a new demo dataset

To add a new demo dataset:

  1. Select Add new demo dataset. 
  2. Enter a name in Display Name and then select Submit.

Edit demo names

To edit any of the existing demo names:

  1. Select a demo dataset from the context selector dropdown at the top of the page.
  2. Type new names in the respective tables. 

For example, to update the display name of dataset, type the name in the Edit Names of datasets table.

  1. Select a demo dataset from the Demo dataset to use dropdown.
  2. Select Update Demo names to process and synchronize with core business data.
  3. Select the Process Master Data Changes - Process to process the changes and synchronize with core business data.
