The 161 - Input transportation costs plant > DC > Customer page allows you to enter transport cost and lead times for shipments from the plant to distribution center, and distribution center to customer location. It can also display historic shipment profiles broken down by plant, distribution center, and customer location.
Prerequisites
Use the context selectors at the top of the page to filter the production plan data displayed.
The Use Historic Profiles panel controls whether you can enter a historical profile value in the Plant to DC Transportation data and DC to Customer Transportation data tables. Select either:
- Based on PlantXDCxCust data?: No historic profile value can be entered.
- Based on PlantxDC & DC x Cust data?: A historic profile value can be entered.
Enter Plant to Distribution Center transportation data
The Plant to DC Transportation data table allows you to enter transportation costs and lead times between the plant to distribution center for each product, plant, and distribution center location.

| Product | Displays the product name. |
| Plant Location | Displays the plant's location. |
| DC Location | Displays the distribution center's location. |
| Historic shipment profile | If the Based on PlantxDC & DC x Cust data historic profile is selected, you can enter a historic shipment profile value. If the Based on PlantXDCxCust data? historic profile is selected, no data is displayed. |
| Transportation Cost | Displays the transportation cost between the plant and distribution center. Enter the required value. |
| Lead times | Displays the lead time between the plant and distribution center. Enter the required value. |
Enter Distribution Center to Customer transportation data
The DC to Customer Transportation data table allows you to enter transportation costs and lead times between the distribution center and customer for each product and distribution center location.

| Customer Location | Displays the customer's location. |
| Historic shipment profile | If the Based on PlantxDC & DC x Cust data historic profile is selected, you can enter a historic shipment profile value. If the Based on PlantXDCxCust data? historic profile is selected, the column is blank. |
| Transportation Cost | Displays the transportation cost between the distribution center and customer location. Enter the required value. |
| Lead times | Displays the lead time between the distribution center and customer location. Enter the required value. |
Enter Historic Shipment Profiles data
If the Based on PlantXDCxCust data? historic profile option is selected, the Historic Shipment Profiles Plant x DC x Cust Location table allows you to enter historic shipment profile values for each plant, distribution center, and customer location combination. A total of all values is also displayed in the table.
